Naples Senior Center has received a $500,000 gift from Foundation 214 and will rename its Geriatric Case Management Program as the Foundation 214 Geriatric Case Management Program.
The Community Foundation of Collier County (CFCC) awarded $7,151,231 in grants in the first quarter of the 2021-22 fiscal year ending September 30, 2021 to nonprofit agencies and for scholarships for secondary education and specialized training.
Publix customers and associates raised $100,000 for the Tools for School campaign to give back to the students and teachers of Lee County.
The Baby Basics Fashion Show raised more than $40,000, exceeding its fundraising goal of $30,000.
Since July, Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®) has collected and distributed over $30,000 in direct donations and supplies to five charities that provide vital humanitarian and habitat preservation services.

David Lawrence Centers (DLC) for Behavioral Health announced an agreement between the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, DLC and the Collier County Community and Human Services Division to accept a three-year Criminal Justice, Mental Health and Substance Abuse (CJMHSA) Reinvestment $1,200,000 grant awarded to the County by the Florida Department of Children and Families. The grant includes a $1,200,000 match and will fund Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in the county jail.
Artis—Naples announced that the $1 million dollar-for-dollar matching gift from longtime patrons Ellen and David Ryan in support of the Naples Philharmonic has been met, with more than 600 gifts ranging from $1 to $100,000. A new $1 million matching gift has been pledged by an anonymous board member that will match all new and increased giving through June 30, 2022.
The Red Sox Foundation hosted Swings for the Sox golf tournament, raising $47,195 for college scholarships to deserving students in Lee County schools, and more than 50 Boston Red Sox players helped build six Habitat for Humanity homes in Heritage Heights.
Lighthouse of SWFL raised $37,000 at is annual Dining in the Dark fundraiser to support vision rehabilitation and programs for people with low vision and blindness.
Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida has received a $30,000 Workforce Development grant from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation to help further its work and career readiness programs for middle and high school students throughout Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
CLA (Clifton Larson Allen) Foundation presented a $15,000 grant to Friends of Foster Children Forever.
Charity for Change has received $10,000 in grants from Community Foundation of Collier County to support mental wellness for youth.
Collier Resource Center received a $2,500 grant from Community Foundation of Collier County for a board and staff strategic planning retreat.
Naples Art District’s Art for a Cure: Pink with a Purpose event raised $3,000 total and will give $1,500 to Susan G. Komen Florida and $1,500 to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
Naples Community Orchestra (NCO) has been awarded two grants as well as a corporate sponsorship. The Community Foundation of Collier County (CCFC) will provide training to the NCO board best board practices and strategic planning; Martin and Gustel Morton Foundation, New London, NH has provided a grant to support student education; and PNC Bank is now a corporate sponsor of NCO and underwrite the Orchestra Concertmaster Chair.
The Greater Naples Alumnae Panhellenic (GNAP) raised $1,455 for the Harry Chapin Food Bank by passing an envelope at a recent luncheon. The organization has been recognized nationally by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) for Excellence in Programming for its 2020/2021 agenda by the National Panhellenic Conference.
TLC Marketing and Creative Services paid for swimming lessons this summer at the Bonita Springs YMCA for 242 kids who could not otherwise afford them. After the completed sessions, a pizza party was held with a DJ, photo booth, treat bags and more.
The Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL has provided 2 million pads to at-risk women and girls in SWFL.
The Guardian ad Litem Foundation, 20th Judicial Circuit, raised $17,125 at Fashion to a Tea.
STARability Foundation received a $15,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Collier County.
